Hotel

For lodging accommodations, the star-level selected for this group is superior/4-star. Keep in mind that U.S. 4-star standards may not be an exact equivalent in other countries. Here is the link to the target hotel's website, to help you determine if the lodging will meet your standards.

The allocation is dependent on availability and seasonality, so you can be assigned any from our selection, advertised or alternatives. The final hotel selection will be confirmed no later than 15 days before departure.

+December 1, 2025: $250 deposit is due
+The deposit is non-refundable, but funds may be issued as a future travel credit if cancellation occurs at least 60 days prior to departure.

+February 12, 2026: 60% of the balance is due

+April 12, 2026: remainder of balance due
+For the deposit and subsequent payments, you will receive a payment link via email.
+When roundtrip international flights are included, prices and availability are only guaranteed once deposits are paid.

Full Itinerary


Day 1: Inbound

Arrive at your departure airport ready to check-in for a flight to Nairobi.* Night on board.

*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

    Day 2: Nairobi

    Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.* The rest of the day off in the dynamic capital of Kenya, known as "the Green City in the Sun". Overnight stay in Nairobi.

    *You will have the option to add early check-in on arrival

    Day 3: Nairobi

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today, spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring at your leisure. Nairobi is a vibrant city where you can really get acquainted with Kenya's diverse culture. This cosmopolitan capital is a great place to sample the delights of Kenyan cuisine so why not hit the local bars or cafes to soak up the atmosphere of the place? Make the most of your trip by taking part in one of our optional activities, either an optional tour to three museums* or an optional Coffee Farm Tour.** Overnight stay in Nairobi.***

    Day 4: Nairobi & Maasai Mara Nat'l Reserve (MMNR)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Set off early this morning for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Ascend to the edge of the Great Rift Valley passing through the charming towns of Mai Mahiu and Narok, the latter of which is the Maasai capital. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and soak up the breathtaking views of the surrounding savannah. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, either enjoying the facilities at the lodge or making the most of your surroundings. We recommend an optional game drive* to encounter African wildlife first hand! Dinner and overnight stay in Maasai Mara.

      Day 5: MMNR

      Breakfast at the lodge. Embark on an unforgettable day of wildlife-spotting as you set off on a full-day game-viewing drive with a packed lunch on the go. This extra time will allow you to further explore the vast reserve and discover the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the Maasai Mara. See if you can spot the Big Five as you enjoy some of the best game-viewing on earth and enjoy an authentic Kenyan safari experience! As this magical day draws to a close, return to the lodge and unwind at dinner as you retell the stories of today’s adventures! Overnight stay in the Maasai Mara.

      Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you embark on a full-day game-viewing drive with a lunch on the go so you don’t miss any second of the action provided by the Big Five or the beauty of the Maasai Mara landscapes.

      Day 6: MMNR - Nyahururu

      After an early breakfast departure for Nyahururu, the town derives its name from the Maasai word for waterfall or place of storms. The epic drive will take you via the shores of Lake Naivasha, part of the Great Rift Valley. Stop on-route with the option for lunch (not included) and some time at leisure to enjoy the stunning natural landscape. We recommend an optional Crescent Island visit to walk among the wildlife.* Arrive at the resort later that evening and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Nyahururu.

      Day 7: Nyahururu

      Breakfast at the Resort. Today, spend all day at your own leisure enjoying your epic surroundings and making the most of the resort facilities which include a steam room, sauna, gym and swimming pool. If you’re up for more adventure, you can take part in our optional visit to Thompson Falls & Hippo Pools* or hike up Marmanet Forest?** Dinner and overnight stay at the Resort.

        Day 8: Nyahururu - Nairobi

        Awake early for breakfast to enjoy your last moments in the Kenyan wilderness at your leisure. Around mid-morning it’s time to enjoy a leisurely drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the capital in the afternoon. Get settled in at the hotel, ready to spend your final evening in Kenya at your leisure, perhaps shopping for souvenirs or indulging in the local cuisine in Nairobi’s many eateries. Overnight stay in Nairobi.*

        Day 9: Nairobi - Night Flight

        Breakfast at the hotel.* Enjoy the use of your room until 10:00 a.m. before checking out and transferring to the airport at the indicated time (usually 3 to 4 hours before your departure flight) for your flight back home. Night on board.

        *Depending on the return flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast on the last day.

        Day 10: U.S. Arrival

        Arrive back home, filled with amazing memories of your unforgettable journey through Kenya!

        Optional Activities

        Visit to the National Museum, Bomas & Kazuri Beads - Suggested activity for day 3 in Nairobi
        This 3 part activity starts off by indulging in exhibitions on East African heritage. Next, you will head to Bomas to watch dance groups perform in their native villages before heading to Kazuri to take part in a bead workshop. This cannot be combined with the Coffee Farm Tour.

        Coffee Farm Tour - Suggested activity for day 3 in Nairobi

        The Fairview Coffee Estate is where you want to go to learn about all things coffee related. You will familiarize yourself with coffee tourism, take a tour around the coffee farm and learn about the brand and its production. This cannot be combined with the Museum, Bomas & Kazuri Beads Visit.

        Maasai Mara National Reserve Afternoon Game Drive - Suggested activity for day 4 in Maasai Mara

        Enjoy an afternoon game drive to discover the varied wildlife of the Maasai Mara, famed for its population of lions, cheetahs, and leopards and for its role as the destination of the annual Great Migration!

        Boat safari to Crescent Island - Suggested activity for day 6 in Maasai Mara

        See the families of hippos and other fascinating wildlife, as you wander across this tranquil peninsula, exploring this biodiverse area on foot!

        Visit to Thomson Falls & Hippo Pools - Suggested activity for day 7 in Nyahururu

        You can expect to see one of the most impressive sights in Nyahururu; Thomson Falls, a 243 feet waterfall on the Ewaso Ng’iro river. Then, make your way to Hippo pools where you can marvel at hippos in their natural habitat.
