Minimum age to sail: Infants to be at least 6 months old at embarkation for standard cruises and at least 12 months old for itineraries with three or more consecutive days at sea, including transatlantic and other long-distance voyages.
Pregnancy Restrictions: Norwegian Cruise Line cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during the cruise including any and all land arrangements made through Norwegian Cruise Line. An expectant mother's application for passage must be accompanied by a medical certificate establishing her due date and fitness to travel.
Traveling with minors: Norwegian Cruise Line defines minors as guests under 18 and young adults as those aged 18-20 at embarkation. On itineraries visiting the United States, Canada, or China, guests under 21 must share the same, connecting, or adjacent stateroom-not one across the hall-with someone aged 21 or older; on other cruises, this applies to guests under 18, except U.S., Canadian, or Chinese citizens. Minors traveling with an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian must submit a completed Parent/Guardian Release Form at pier check-in authorizing travel and emergency medical treatment, or boarding may be denied without a refund. On cruises visiting Canada, guests under 18 traveling with one parent should also carry a preferably notarized consent letter from the absent parent.
